Within his contributions to the efforts in relation to shape up the information society legal infrastructure in Turkey; he was elected as a member of Ministry of Justice E-Commerce Draft Code Codification Commission, Data Protection Draft Code Codification Commission and New Turkish Commercial Draft Code Codification Commission. He is the chief legal advisor of TUBISAD (Turkish Informatics Industry Association) and executive-execution board member of TBV (Turkish Informatics Foundation). He is also a member of several national and international prestigious NGO’s and elected the committee member of these organizations such as; Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) Information Society, Information-Communication Technologies & Innovation Committee; ABFT (American Business Forum in Turkey); Communication Committee of Turkish National Commission for UNESCO; International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw) and the Technology Committee of IBA (International Bar Association).
Mr. Beceni is also a part-time lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University and Sabancı University. He gives a course entitled Information and Communication Law Policies and Strategies in ICT Law LL.M. Program at Istanbul Bilgi University and gives a course entitled Legal Aspects of Data Driven Economy and Legal Ethics in Data Analytics Master Program at Sabancı University. He also contributes academic works at the leading academic institutions as a visiting lecturer.
