Baris Oran graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Business Administration and completed his MBA studies at the University of Georgia. In 1995, he started his career as an auditor at Price Waterhouse Coopers and from 1998 to 2003, worked at Sara Lee Corp in Chicago IL, as an auditor and in finance and treasury/capital markets. Between 2003 and 2006, he worked as Senior Manager at Ernst and Young first at Minneapolis, MN and then in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India regions.He started working at Kordsa Global in 2006, and held positions of Internal Audit Director, Global Finance Director and CFO respectively. Oran was appointed as Budgeting, Consolidation and IR Director of Sabancı Holding in 2011; as the Head of Finance of Sabancı Holding in 2012 and as the Chief Financial Officer of Sabancı Holding in 2016.
He is the member of Kordsa Global, Brisa, Enerjisa, Teknosa, Carrefoursa, Avivasa and Cimsa Board of Directors.
