Mr. Xiong Meng, born in July 1964, began to work in July 1986. He obtained a Master's Degree from Economics and Management Department of Central Institute of Technology (now Huazhong University of Science and Technology) majoring in Management Engineering as well as an EMBA Degree from CEIBS. He was former Deputy Director of the Personnel and Labor Division, State Department of Materials;  Director of the Personnel and Labor Division of Ministry of Domestic Trade; Assistant Special Inspector of the Special Inspector General Administration under the State Council; Deputy Director General-level and later Director General-level full-time member of the Board of Supervisors for Key Large-Sized State-Owned Enterprises under SASAC (Central Enterprise Work Commission); Vice Chairman of Beijing Economic and Information Technology Commission (Beijing Municipal Office of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense); Director of Civil Military Integration Innovation Working Group of Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Platform. He is currently the Executive Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General of China Federation of Industrial Economics (CFIE), member of the National Strategic Advisory Committee for the Upgrading of China's Manufacturing Sector, member of National Expert Consultation Committee on New Material Development, a panel expert of the National Manufacturing Innovation Center, councilor of Silk Road Think Tank Association and Secretary General of the Belt & Road Industrial and Commercial Alliance (BRICA).
